Inspector Kiran Bhadran stared at the computer screen displaying Oracle India's corporate website, his fingers drumming against the desk with barely contained frustration. Three weeks into his investigation, and he had hit the same wall that had stopped previous investigators—corporate privacy policies and jurisdictional red tape that made accessing employee records nearly impossible without a court order.
My goal behind receiving fan support is not just financial — though of course that helps me continue writing without as much worry about practical limitations — but also emotional and creative.
